The Artful Digger, LLC is operated by me, Cara Montague. My goal is to help you realize the garden that you want.
I grew up in Baltimore, MD and have been steadily chasing colder winters ever since. I have lived in California, Ohio, the Netherlands and most recently in Brooklyn, NY where I coordinated a community garden (its plants and its fantastic people) for 6 years. Since moving to Vermont, and experiencing my coldest winters yet, I have spent 3 years gardening professionally and working with plants at a local garden center. I formed The Artful Digger, LLC in 2013 because I delight in the hard work and artistic challenges of working with plants and the landscape.
